Volans Reposado Single Barrel #8

Aged for ~4 months in a freshly-dumped Basil Hayden bourbon barrel that's American white oak with a cold-smoke process so the barrel got hickory smoke without direct flame.

Sweet cooked agave opens the experience, followed by vanilla and rich butter. There's a noticeable hickory smoke edge, toasted oak character, and warm baking spices. Smooth and creamy, with citrus and mild pepper heat. Finishes long with oak, smoke, and mellow sweetness.
