The nose is dominated by red plums, morello cherries, figs, dried apricots with a delicate perfume of violets, and harmonized elegant notes of vanilla, chocolate and toast. This is a full-bodied wine of great structure and concentration. The excellent balance between acidity and round ripe tannins results in a wine with great personality. It has a pleasant and lingering finish.
